Difference between RTU and DTU

¡¡¡¡1¡¢ RTU = remote terminal unit

¡¡¡¡2¡¢ DTU = = data transfer unit

¡¡¡¡RTU is more complex than DTU. It has some control functions and can input and output analog and switching values. DTU should be relatively simple. If you only need to realize the function of data remote transmission, only DTU can be used, and RTU is much more expensive than DTU.

¡¡¡¡RTU refers to the equipment with switching value and analog value acquisition, relay output and GPRS remote transmission functions. It is generally used when the number of analog value and switching value acquisition channels is small and the accuracy requirements are not high.

¡¡¡¡DTU is a transparent wireless transmission terminal.
